My story

From Numbers to Interfaces – My Journey to UX Design

Creativity has always been part of who I am. Though I graduated from Art School, I initially chose a more traditional path and built a successful career as a chief accountant in Ukraine. But even with all the achievements, something was missing—fulfillment.
Everything changed in 2019 when I moved to the U.S. and decided to reinvent myself. I started a small Etsy business, crafting and selling lifelike flowers from polymer clay. It was my first experience running a business, engaging with customers, and building something of my own—and I loved it.
Wanting more freedom to connect with my audience, I began exploring how to build my own website. That’s when I discovered UX design—and everything clicked. It combined creativity, logic, empathy, and business thinking. It felt like coming home.
Since then, I’ve dedicated myself to becoming a skilled UI/UX designer and Webflow developer. My background in accounting, business, and customer service helps me understand both users and stakeholders. I believe great design starts with understanding people—and that’s what drives me every day.
This journey is ongoing, and I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and creating meaningful digital experiences.
