The US has more immigrants than any other country in the world. More than then1 million new immigrants arrive in the USA each year, and all these people face many barriers and problems. I try to create an App to help new immigrants quickly adapt to the new life.
Easy Way - Application assistant for immigrants in quick adapting to a new life in the USA.

2. Primary research
3. Processing & analyzing the data
4. User personas, User flow, Sketching and prototyping
5. Low fidelity and high fidelity design and prototyping
6. User testing
Before starting design, I decided to understand what is new immigrants' primary tasks and problems and what applications currently exist for immigrants that help solve their problem.
For this purpose I have explore USCIS website, Official website of the Department of Homeland Security and Migration Information Source as well as special Facebook groups and Instagram pages.
My conclusion after studying social networks such as Facebook and Instagram that the biggest problems for new immigrants are:.

Competetive analysis showed that there is no App that can comprehensively help immigrants, but I finded three app with similar tasks:

FindHello provides quick access for new arrivals to find servises and resources into their new community.
Gap: not a lot of direction of help. currently available in English, Arabic and Spanish.

Settle in provides information on housing provisions, looking for a job and practicing a language. Information is presented  like  quizzes and games.
Gap: primarily aimed at refugees

Immig.US let users prepare immigration forms, prompts users for the relevant information and validates responses.
Gap: helps to resolve legal issues only.
After conducting secondary research, I wanted to study the real immigrants experience , so that the future product meets their needs. To do this I conducted a  survey in social networks and, based on it, selected 3 participants for an interviews.

Based on my real immigrants interviews the biggest problem to them at the beginning of the new life was:
New immigrants fell lonely, especially in the first months after moving to the US. They will feel better if they could find someone from their country who lives here longer and can explain some things to them.
Most new immigrants doesn't know English very well. They will feel more confident if they can get help in difficult situations.
Immigrants lack information on many significant life issues, like credit score, life and health insurance etc.

Now, I Â can formulate the main questions that the future app will answer and start the design process
I started by building a user flow  for future customers to achieve their goal's

Then I made sketches of the future app screens

Testing was conducted with 5 participants at my home with my friends and my doughtier friends.
Participants were asked:
1. Create a personal account
2. Find friend
3. Send a message to the new friend
4. You are at the bank and need help talking to the teller, try r to do it with app.
I noticed that participants had a little difficulty with the location of the hamburger menu.
They would like to see the menu in the upper right corner and the user account in the left corner.
After testing, I also realized that in the “language help” section it is better to combine the Dictionary and the Voice Translator into one subsection.

Testing was conducted with 5 participants.
Online - four participants.
Offline - one participants.
Participants were asked:
1. Open the app and create an account
2. Edit account
3. Find friend
4. Add friends to your friend list
5. Send a message to the friend
6. Use the language help in casual conversation
1, Add a map for the search function and a page with information about the persona, and a button “add to friends”
‍
2. Add more fields to personal information (age and time of stay in the US)
‍
3. Remove the voice translator
‍
4. Replace the app logo on each page with the account avatar with access to the account
5. The red color and yellow background strain eyes and irritate - change  the color of the buttons
1) Solving even small problems can improve people's lives. It was nice to hear from my participants that the developed application will help immigrants find friends faster and improve communication at the initial stage of life in the USA.
2) Make the user's life easier. The user experience has shown that even simple tasks like logging into an app and editing an account can always be simplified to minimize the cognitive load on the user. When something works well, we don't even think about it.
3) Rapid iteration and validation encourage design learning. Conducting two design spurts with iteration and testing allowed me to understand how testing my hypothesis and learning quickly can lead to effective improvement.
NEXT STEPS.
The project ended after the second round of testing. If this were to continue, I would consider the following:
I would develop in more detail the functions of the application that would help find and save the information you need.
